Closure: this rare version was made with a sheared and fire polished mouth, and comes with a rare style 2" Willoughby stopple, with embossed Jan 4, 1859 Willoughby patent date lettering on the pewter wingnut of the stopple
Appearance: good with traces of haze
Condition: no damage, but does have a manufacturer's streak of impurities in the glass on the reverse, with a reflective fissure running through it, as shown (see last picture with red arrow)
Embossing: strong on both sides
Base: unmarked
Age: 1860's
Availability: rare and especially in this sheared mouth version and with the 2" stopple
