Closure: an old lettered Mason cap
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: probably an "O" but partly distorted in the making
Age: c1865-1870
Availability: Extremely rare to find an early Beehive-era Mason in any color except aqua, and in fact this is the first colored example we've ever seen or heard about.
