Description

Size:  HALF PINT

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew (couple flakes on glass lid)

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  no damage to jar including a perfect lip

Embossing:  strong, and note that the jar was blown in a mold created by cutting down an early square shoulder pint mold, thus truncating the lettering front and back, which was then left that way

Base:  unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce
