Description

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  BRILLIANT CITRON YELLOW

Closure:  original metal clamp assembly, and correct original glass lid which is clear (no such matching colored lid is known)

Appearance:  crude and sparkling glass throughout

Condition:  minor flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "14"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  extremely rare in this outrageous color....one of the best half gallon Globe jars we've had to offer
