Closure: Fine period unlined brass lid with vertical wrench lugs, and stamped "MASONS PAT JUNE 2 1857". The lid will not thread all the way down to the sealing gasket. The lid is in good shape with an old dark patina and has not been cleaned.

Condition: normal nicking of the ground mouth
