Closure: Good original zinc cap with Union Shield logo, and original enameled iron liner. The wrench lug was formed by pressing it into the threads as shown. The stamped lettering is mostly readable, with some parts of the lettering being stronger than others. The insert is in beautiful shape with no rust or loss of the enameled coating, which is rare to find. Overall an excellent example of this rare lid.
