Closure:  original Schiller closure assembly with hinged metal cap and latching bar

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  good with normal flaking of the ground mouth, label condition is as shown

Embossing:  base only

Base:  "PATENT SCHILLER"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  rare and the first example we've seen with this base embossing
