Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  amethyst tint

Closure:  all original including the matching color glass lid (neck band rusty but intact)

Appearance:  trace of content haze

Condition:  roughness and chipping on the ground mouth, with a horizontal lip fissure as shown

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "4 / S"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce in this clear/sca coloration
