Closure:  fine original cast iron cage-like clamp, in nice clean condition with good clear lettering, and retaining the original sealing gasket, also retains the full original tin liner under the domed cap

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  edge chips on the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  1860's
