Description

A glass beater jar embossed on the front "JEWEL BEATER MIXER WHIPPER & FREEZER MANF BY GRAVITY TWINE BOX CO CLEVELAND OHIO". Original heavy cast iron top with gear-driven mechanism. Amethyst colored glass with a ground lip, and is shiny clean with no damage. Handle consists of a heavy wire with coiled handle, held in place on the jar by means of embossed knobs made into the sides of the jar. Measures about 7-1/2 inches high to the gears. A rare early beater in beautiful complete condition. Steve Kehrer collection.
