Description
A solid pour or "mold warmer" for a wire bail style glass fruit jar lid "SAFETY NOTCH COVER". The lid was designed to allow two positions for the wire bail (SEAL and BOIL), with the lower position used to relieve pressure while boiling. Light green tint. The overall diameter of this solid pour is about 4-1/8" with the actual lid itself being standard size. Base wear from use as a paperweight. Rare.
