Color: salt glazed with 6 lines of deep blue stenciled slip advertising lettering, small flourishes, raised/incised shoulder band, and a brushed blue stripe at the neck and another at the heel
Appearance: very good, with light colored glaze providing excellent contrast for the rich blue decoration
Condition: as made condition other than some light vertical water streaks
Base: unmarked
Notes: a rare early advertising jar from Greene County in the SW corner of PA
