Closure:  original glass lid and a replica metal clamp (the glass lid has a short crack at one edge)

Appearance:  has haze on the right side

Condition:  jar has no damage

Embossing:  strong

Base:  unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  scarce, these are attributed to the W. Brookfield Co at 55 Fulton Street in NY
