Closure:  scarce original Ball Blue glass insert with 1900 patent date and a replacement metal band (glass insert has a sliver chip on the bottom edge as shown)

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  minor flaking on the lip

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "PAT APR 10 1900 APR 26 1907" encircling an "8"

Age:  c1914
