Closure:  early unlined metal screw cap fits well but is a replacement

Appearance:  crude, seed-bubbly and whittly glass throughout, light content haze

Condition:  has a crow-foot ping in the shoulder as shown

Base:  unmarked

Age:  1860's

Availability:  a scarce early Hemingray-made jar and a beautifully crude example
