Description

One dozen lipped black rubber jar rings made specifically for collector display use on Midget Pint Mason jars and any other jar with similar mouth size. This size is normally quite difficult or impossible to find, especially in a lipped version, which is the proper ring style for Mason jars using zinc caps. The rings are brand new and nicely elastic, unlike old-stock original rings which are often brittle and prone to breakage when stretched onto the jar mouth. This limited edition box is number one of 25 made in this series. Signed and numbered 1/25. Not intended for home canning use. The front main panel graphics are repeated on the reverse side.

The story behind the graphics....rendered from an original Folk Art oil painting depicting Jane Ann Huntley Carney, Born April 18 1832, Married Nov 13 1847 & her child Ann Almirah Carney, Born Dec 25 1851 Died February 15 1852 in Rockford Illinois. Painted by G J Robertson, June 1852. Painting is from the collection of Greg & Angela Spurgeon.
