A rare wooden shipping box that was made to hold 1/2 Dozen sets of 4 half pint Woodbury Sterilizer jars resting in their wire carrying baskets. Made of yellow pine with finger jointed corners. The bottom boards are affixed with cut nails. Large size, measuring roughly 21" long by 11-3/4" tall by 14" deep. Has some wear or animal chewing along the edge of one end panel as shown. With the fancy joinery and being elaborately printed on all 4 sides, this was certainly a "deluxe" shipping box. An extremely rare or singular survivor.
