Closure:  all original

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  no damage including a perfect lip and perfect glass lid

Embossing:  strong, and note that the truncated lettering is the result of this jar being blown in a mold created by cutting down an early square shouldered pint mold

Base:  unmarked

Age:  late 1800's
