An early yellow mocha ware pitcher with earthworm decoration. Has 4 red stripes and 4 off-white stripes flaking the band of meandering earthworm decoration. Measures about 5-5/8" tall. Spout is chipped as shown, there is a flake on the lip, and there are multiple specks of glaze exfoliation mainly in the colored areas. Would be a prime candidate for restoration, or simply left as-is and admired for the artifact that it is. This item was dug in Michigan.
