A brightly colored wooden mechanical pull toy made by Fisher Price Toys (small label low on each side of elephant). Depicts a lithographed wooden cutout of Jumbo the Elephant riding upright on a wheeled cart and holding a Xylophone mallet in each arm. When the cart is pulled the wheels operate a linkage connected to the elephant's arm causing him to strike/play the Xylophone. Original cardboard label affixed to the front with staples that reads "JUMBO PEANUT BUTTER / IS GOOD FOR CHILDREN / WRITE FOR RECIPE BOOKLETS / THE FRANK TEA & SPICE CO / CINCINNATI O". The toy is in good working order, with modest wear. All parts are original with no repairs or replacements. Measures about 10-1/2" high, 9" long and 4-3/4" wide. Extremely rare and especially in this condition.
