Closure: applied ring collar mouth with original glass stopper lid with 1865 patent date (edge flakes on the lid as per usual)
Appearance: Sparkling glass with a trace of content haze. Note that the applied collar mouth is out-of-round, but this lid seats into the mouth of the jar with no problem.
Condition: jar has no damage including a perfect lip
Embossing: strong
Base: bare iron pontil scar
Age: c1858-1860
Availability: extremely rare, as this pint version without Circles and Squares is typically not pontiled
