Closure: Original unlined zinc cap impressed on the top with GILLINDER & BENNETT & patent dates logo and with two punched-out, solder-fill wrench lugs. Note that the tiny perfectly-round hole visible at the upper edge of the cap threads is a seal breaker hole that is part of the original cap design.
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: normal nicking of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "2" embossed backwards, and note the square-edged base, similar to Beehive Mason jars of the same period
