Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and original brass spring clamp

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  manufacturer's edge chipping of the ground mouth all around

Embossing:  strong, and note the peened out "TEST JAR" below the embossing

Base:  "3"

Age:  1870's

Availability:  a scarce old jar and a fine complete specimen
