Closure:  original domed style glass lid and a replica clamp (lid has a bruise on the bottom projecting collar)

Appearance:  whittled glass with a trace of content haze

Condition:  has a manufacturer's pot stone in the neck with small legs

Age:  1860's

Availability: scarce early version and a great looking jar
