Availability: Scarce....the "fluted lip" design was the Ball Brothers attempt at preventing their jars from being used with the competing Kerr Glass Co's "dome lid" design that was becoming popular after 1915. The fact that relatively few of these jars exist would indicate that they gave up on this idea quickly.
