Closure: original high-finned glass lid with 1868 patent date, and original brass wire clamp with an old untouched dark patina

Appearance: sparkling glass

Condition: shallow chipping on the ground mouth

Embossing: strong, and note the reverse side has an embossed "3"

Base: unmarked

Age: c1870

Availability: scarce and a fine, all-original specimen
