A rare original glass house solid pour "ATLAS EZ SEAL" in pint size. The mold was filled all the way to the top of the neck collar. Rare in that the resulting pour was kept, and even more rare that it survived without being damaged. Typically the glass would have been re-used by simply tossing the solidified pour back into the glass pot. These pours would have been done at the beginning of a shift or after a re-start, in order to preheat the heavy cast iron manufacturing mold. Usually, a much smaller amount of glass was used, resulting in a much shorter section of the jar profile being created. This one however is a rare full pour. It is possible that the glass house worker filled the mold fully in this case, with every intention of keeping the resulting piece as a take-home item. Condition is clean and shiny with very little wear. An exceptional rarity in beautiful condition.
