Closure:  original wire bail and a correct style glass lid that is colorless (lid has edge chips)

Appearance:  shiny glass with a trace of content haze inside the back shoulder

Condition:  normal roughness of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "GILBERDS 3"

Age:  late 1800's
