Description

Size:  QUART

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  unmarked aqua glass insert and a zinc band closure

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  good including an excellent ground lip with very little flaking

Embossing:  Strong, and note the two backwards-embossed N's, a mold-maker's error. Note also that, instead of being located on the back as normal, the slug plate circle is on the front of the jar, with the Masons Patent lettering being superimposed over the circle. This variation is unlisted. The slug plate is the result of the previous BBGMCo monogram having been removed from the mold.
