Description
A glass house solid pour block, which was the result of using hot glass to heat up the fruit jar mold at the beginning of a production run. This is the base of a half gallon Kerr Economy jar. Good shiny condition with wear on the unlettered side, from being used as a paperweight. About 4-1/2" in diameter. Rare, as these would most always have been placed back into the glass pot and recycled.
