Description

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  LIGHT AMBER

Closure:  original glass lid and iron clamp

Appearance:  extreme whittling throughout and shiny glass

Condition:   normal nicking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "4" over a backwards-embossed "S"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability:  Rare with this degree of glass character. This is the most whittled Globe we've ever sold of any size or color.
