Description

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  applied collar mouth is made for a cork stopper

Appearance:  shiny glass with a faint trace of content haze

Condition:  excellent with a few tiny pinpoint nicks along the wear line of the base

Embossing:  strong

Base: black iron pontil scar

Age:  1850's

Availability: scarce and a great looking example of this early jar
