Size: about 2-1/2" tall and about 2" in base diameter
Color: clear with a slight greenish tint
Closure: original floral-wreath stamped brass cap with "MASONS PATENT JUNE 2D 1857". The cap is in good shape with the exception of a couple small holes in the upper edge that were probably caused by rubbing against the sharp ground lip
Appearance: good
Condition: Normal nicking of the ground mouth. Label is in good shape.....the hand-written label has been superimposed over an original printed label.
Embossing: lid only
Base: a perfectly flat base just like Crowleytown Mason jars of the period
Age: c1858-1860
