Description

A small size CARTERS BUTTER & FRUIT PRESERVING JAR. Comes with the original heavy glass lid, the original metal neck band, and the original wire carrying bail. The cross wire is missing as well as the tip of the metal eyelet that held it. The jar measures about 5" to the rim and about 5-3/4" in diameter. Shiny glass with minor nicks on the mouth. The base is embossed "JJ CARTERS AIR TIGHT BUTTER JAR". Rare.
