This brilliant yellow green oil lamp was produced by the Hemingray Glass Co. at their Covington, KY & Muncie, IN factory sites. Numerous shards have been found by researchers digging at those sites. Catalogued as "Vera" in Oil Lamps 1 book by Catherine Thuro. This lamp is depicted in a distributor catalog in 1888. Ca. 1883-1895. Shiny condition with one flake under the heel. Small manufacturer's under-fill on top of the foot. Measures about 7-1/2" tall to the top of the neck collar.
