Closure: original glass insert lid with 1858 patent date (some edge flaking which all of these lids have, but this is one of the better ones)
Appearance: whittly and sparkling glass
Condition: excellent condition, with one spot on the lip having some tiny edge flakes, and what appears to be a small manufacturer's void or under-fill on the top edge of the lip
Embossing: strong
