Color:   AQUAMARINE

Closure:  comes with a 2-piece closure for a Whitney jar, which back in the day, when George Carkuff collected this jar, had long been assumed as the correct closure

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  normal nicking of the ground mouth

Embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: late 1800's

Availability:  a rare early jar and a great looking example
