Closure: original lugged No 4 glass stopper (the stopper has an edge chip as shown)
Appearance: crude, whittled, and sparkling glass, has some areas of content haze
Condition: good with two tiny flakes on the lip, one neck lug has a corner chip
Embossing: strong
Base: unmarked, smooth base
Age: 1860's
Availability: a scarce early jar and a great looking example
