Closure: applied grooved ring wax sealer mouth finish with sheared inner lip
Appearance: good with some crudity including a small manufacturer's under-fill on the base heel
Condition: good, with a barely-visible "crows-foot" type ding in the barrel "rings" above the word JAR, which doesn't appear to go through the glass, rather seems to be just into the interior surface
Embossing: medium to strong
Base: iron pontil scar
Age: 1850's
